Many here in America don't realize that there's a British version of the show America's Got Talent. Well, they started it, after all, and it's called Britain's Got Talent.

Anyway, last year, out of the blue, they got this guy named Paul Potts, a cell phone salesman who wanted to sing opera. They looked at this guy and were ready to dismiss him; then they heard him sing like there's no tomorrow.

Here's the video:

I tell you, this is what life is all about. On the one hand, this guy gets to live the dream of his life, as he ultimately went on and won the competition, and is now a professional opera singer. On the other, everyone else learned a big lesson in judging a book by its cover and being amazed to see what was inside. This was so inspirational that, when I first learned of it, I sent the link to everyone I knew. Now I want it on my blog, so that I can find it whenever I need a boost. Just amazing, and I'm proud of this guy, even though I don't know him.

This is in all of us; we only have to follow the dream.
