Well, it’s hard to not talk about Rosa Parks, since the civil rights movement effectively started with her, but I might go with you on the Tuskegee Airmen; that’s a terrible part of American history, but not a positive step forward for the nation, especially if that’s what the month is supposed to be about.

I actually did something like what you’re doing a few years ago in another place; only one person cared, that being a person who wasn’t from the United States. Being sneaky in public; what a concept!

This year, like last year, I’m making sure I have at least one post about a black person or black issue every day in February. But I’m not announcing it, so nobody notices it (at least they didn’t last year). It’s fun being sneaky.
