		<description>There&#039;s fewer and fewer stores in America that are totally commission based, so that type of thing wouldn&#039;t work as well here.  Also, in those stores that had it, the second clerk wouldn&#039;t be allow, by rule, to take over from the first person unless specifically requested, in which case you might as well ask for the manager anyway.</description>

I don&#039;t know how it works in the States but our sales staff, I used to be one, usually earn commission for each sale, so what I sometimes do is walk right past the jerk after, wasting his time for a fair while, and then approach another sales staff and try my luck with him/her. I make sure the jerk sees it and if all is well give the sale to the the second one.</description>
