Jackie Robinson is one of the all time great athletes, and he exhibited nothing but class and dignity during those first difficult years in the Major Leagues in addition to his superb playing ability. And the late Mister Robinson deserves further credit for his honorable service in the U.S. Army during WW2, despite the fact that the Army tried to burn him because he refused to relinquish his seat on a bus and further refused to move to the back of the bus. He was truly a man of strength, courage and conviction.
