What Does It Mean To Be A Black Man?
There’s this interesting article on MSNBC where the first line of the story is “What does it mean to be a black man?” Personally, I found it a fascinating little expose on being a black male in America and the challenges that are faced, being one myself. That’s all I’m going to say on this one until y’all read the story. It’s gone from the news page, so here it is as a pdf.

The story doesn’t seem to be there anymore. So I guess I won’t comment on it. Perhaps another time.

Hi Renny; I agree with you to an extent. Changing colors isn’t going to happen any time soon, so it’s going to take the acknowledgment of the differences and the realization that they have, for the most part, absolutely nothing to do with you personally, and then deciding that every person is worth being treated as an equal, no matter the circumstance. It’s not going to be easy, as we can see from what’s going on in the Middle East, but if enough people want it, the thing can be done.
